Do you know? Acupuncture is a scientifically proven effective pain relief method without most analgesic drugs’ side effects. It also promotes healing by improving circulation at the injured site and aids the body’s own damage repair process.
Does it hurt? Below is a picture comparing the size of an acupuncture needle and a hypodermic needle. Most people don’t even notice when the needle penetrates the skin. When the needle has reached a deeper level, there is usually a heaviness or dull ache which is the sensation you should feel when the needle has reached the level of the meridian system and is doing its work.
